Just like everything in this world, food has some amazing facts but like everything now that has options and alternatives, food has its own kinds of alternatives and options. Options are a lot but there are only two alternatives; one is organic food and the second is inorganic food. If you don’t know what are these two terms then worry not, as we are here to guide you about it. Have you ever visited the super store and there are two kinds of tomatoes, the ones that are expensive and the ones that are cheap? And it is obvious that you have to buy the cheap ones and why not! But did you ever wonder what is the different between the expensive ones and the cheap ones. Well, the cheap ones are from the production of inorganic procedures which mean that they are made up of somewhat artificial things and the organic ones are those that are made with natural things. But there are different misconceptions about organic food as well even though it has a lot of benefits, like;
- The first myth is that organic farming saves a lot of nature and wild life and it is good for the world global system. The global system thing is correct since in organic food production, farmers don’t use any kind of pesticide and the insects are no doubt harmful but they are a part of our eco system as well and you should not mess with that. But the fact is that for organic farming, farmers need a lot of space to produce a lot of vegetables and fruits and dairy because small portions are not profitable nor for the seller neither for the buyer as well.
- Then people believe that organic farming will save the world from dying from hunger. But the fact is totally the opposite. Inorganic farming was developed because of the world hunger stats. Because some data scientists believed that world will die from hunger if huge amounts of food is not provided to the communities. Inorganic production is a fast way to produce huge amount foods at the same time and over and over again.
- Another myth is that organic farming or organic food in Dubai used in oat milk coffee never use any kind of pesticide, this would have been true if this was said a century ago because those were the times when there was no tech and people used to do scare the insects away in natural ways. But the latest organic ways use some pesticides.
